“CoreTech continues to align with our clients' business needs and goals by putting them first, especially when it comes to the security of IT systems and data,” says Chris Vilim, president of CoreTech.
From proactive approaches in managed IT services to regular cyber security updates and alerts on our numerous channels, CoreTech is a client-focused, security-driven managed service provider (MSP).
To reinforce those values, our team recently underwent the process to obtain an IT security credential that sets us apart in data and network protection services: the CompTIA Security Trustmark+.
What is the CompTIA Security Trustmark+?
The Trustmark+ is a vendor-neutral, business-level credential. It identifies IT companies that demonstrate a commitment to industry security standards and adhere to prescribed compliance measures.
Each organization that holds the Trustmark+ completes an extensive review, including an examination of its processes and management policies through a third-party assessment.
Successfully completing the evaluation authenticates a provider’s ability to prevent data breaches and IT security intrusions in their clients’ networks and systems, as well as their own business.
About CompTIA
As a non-profit association, CompTIA advances the global interests of IT professionals and companies. They focus their programs on four main areas: education, certification, advocacy and philanthropy.
Why did CoreTech pursue this credential?
This credential exemplifies CoreTech’s ability to identify, detect, protect, respond to and recover from IT security incidents. It also helps us demonstrate our compliance with key industry regulations and processes. It is the highest level of recognition for solution providers that follow security best practices.
By completing the necessary requirements to obtain the CompTIA Security Trustmark+, CoreTech joins a select group of industry leaders who demonstrate an active and ongoing dedication to data security and top-quality customer service.
“Security is a major piece of our clients’ infrastructure, and it has a lot of moving parts to manage. This credential shows that CoreTech has the means and the expertise to keep your data and your systems secure. We’re here to offer peace of mind, and the Trustmark+ adds credibility to that,” said Vilim.
What does it mean for your company—and for CoreTech?
Receiving this designation demonstrates CoreTech’s continued ability to service your business with proactive support. It provides confirmation that we can keep your systems and data safe and secure.
