Enjoy the Benefits of Remote Network Monitoring
Out of Sight, Out of Mind –
Enjoy the Benefits of Remote Network Monitoring Without the IT Burden

Your network or application is down and you need it corrected quickly or your business suffers through loss of productivity, revenue or image. With proactive support services from CoreTech corrective action is already underway to get you up and running again.

Today's remote network monitoring tools can help us generate valuable information about your network health and performance. This data, pulled from server, firewall and device logs, helps our network administrators quickly determine which of your network components are overburdened, underutilized or at risk.

And by hiring out this service, you can gain all the information you need to make critical decisions, without placing an additional burden on your busy IT personnel. If you are an SMB with numerous PCs, servers and a Web site -- but a small IT staff -- remote network monitoring may prove to be an ideal solution. Here's why.

Thinking About Hiring
Your Own Internal IT Staff --Consider This!
Outsourcing your IT brings additional business value
by Stuart R. Crawford, VP, IT Matters

Businesses today grapple with the decision of hiring their own technology staff to support their daily IT needs. There are benefits, however there are risks and costs that need to be addressed in the decision-making process as well.

Business owners, C-level execs and managers are attracted to the idea of having a team or a consultant readily available within shouting distance down the hall, basically having an IT resource committed to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. More often than not it is purely a cost-based decision. On the surface it may appear to be more cost effective to hire a full-time employee. CFOs and accounting managers often look at the cost of outsourcing their IT needs versus hiring someone as part of their staff. They feel hiring an employee will save their company in the long run. In reality, this is not the case for small and medium-sized businesses. Hiring a full-time employee actually ends up costing more in the long run.

So what are the considerations when deciding to contract with an IT partner vs. hiring a full-time employee? Read on
